This is a 26.5" x 38.5" Polish poster designed by Witold Dybowski for
the 1984 Wim Wenders film Paris, Texas written by L.M. Kit
Carson and Sam Shepard and starring Harry Dean Stanton as Travis
Henderson. Plot summary: Travis Henderson is a broken, slowly
recovering amnesiac longing to reconnect with but not to resume his
former life as he wanders around on foot in south Texas. His former
life includes his abandoned son Hunter [Hunter Carson] and his
estranged wife Jane [Nastassja Kinski]. The film's spare, haunting
soundtrack is made up almost entirely of Ry Cooder performing
variations on a song by Blind Willie Johnson (1897 - 1945)
called Dark Is the Night (AKA Dark Was the Night for
Cooder's recorded version).
This item is available for immediate shipment. It is variously known to the public as a Paris, Texas poster, a Paris, Texas film poster and a Paris, Texas movie poster.
