This is a 19" x 27" Polish poster designed by Maria Ihnatowicz for the 1976 Alain Corneau film Police Python 357 AKA The Case against Ferrot based on the 1946 Kenneth Fearing novel The Big Clock, screenplay by Daniel Boulanger and Alain Corneau and starring Yves Montand as Inspector Marc Ferrot. Plot summary: Ispector Ferrot has an affair with Sylvia Léopardi, [Stefania Sandrelli] who is also having an affair with his superior Ganay [François Périer]. When Gany learns about this he kills Léopardi, but the evidence all points to Ferrot as the murderer.
