This is a 27.5" x 39" French poster for the 1968 Jean Herman film Farewell Friend AKA Adieu L'Ami based on a story by Sebastien Japrisot, screenplay by Jean Herman and Sebastien Japrisot and starring Alain Delon as Dino Barran. Plot summary: After returning to France from the war in Algeria Franz Propp [Charles Bronson] decides to go to the Congo and attempts to induce Dr. Dino Barran, another Foreign Legion veteran who came home at the same time, to come along. Barran declines because he prefers to remain in Paris and do the bidding of Isabelle Moreau [Olga Georges-Picot] in a job with a large company with Dominique Austerlitz [Brigitte Fossey] as his assistant. In this position he will return some missing documents to a safe.
