This is a 27" x 39" Egyptian poster for the 1967 John Boorman
film Point Blank based on the 1963 Donald E. Westlake
novel The Hunter written with the pseudonym Richard Stark,
screenplay by Alexander Jacobs, David Newhouse and Rafe Newhouse and
starring Lee Marvin as Walker. Plot summary: In the City of San
Francisco Walker participates in the robbery of funds from a gambling
organization, but is then shot and abandoned by his accomplice Mal
Reese [John Vernon]. Walker recovers and sets out on a long and
violent quest in Los Angeles for revenge and the recovery of his share
of the heist.
This poster was printed in Egypt, but with Latin characters; it is overwritten by hand in Arabic.
