This is a 27" x 39" Egyptian one-sheet poster designed by Sami for the
1988 Ron Howard film Willow starring Val Kilmer as Madmartigan.
Plot summary: The evil sorceress Queen Bavmorda [Jean Marsh] fears the
birth of a female child with a special birthmark who will bring about
her downfall, so she imprisons all pregnant women. The baby still
escapes capture when she is born and soon comes under the protection
and care of Willow Ufgood, [Warwick Davis] a farmer in the village of
Nelwyn who aspires to become a sorcerer. The Fairy Queen Cherlindrea
[Maria Holvoe] identifies the baby as Elora Danan, future princess of
Tir Asleen, and gives Willow the job of looking after her and helping
her achieve her destiny of bringing down Queen Bavmorda.
