film Sheba Baby starring Pam Grier as Sheba Shayne. Plot
summary: Sheba Shayne, a private investigator in Chicago, returns to
her hometown in Louisville Kentucky to help her father Andy [Rudy
Challenger] confront some local criminals who are trying to run him
out of business. Her old boyfriend Brick [Austin Stoker] lends a hand
at times, but most of the time Sheba heroically confronts, outruns and
destroys her adversaries without any help.
