This is a 27" x 41" US one-sheet poster for the 1985 Nicholas Meyer film Volunteers based on a story by Keith Critchlow, screenplay by Ken Levine and starring Tom Hanks as Lawrence Whatley Bourne III. Plot summary: Lawrence Bourne III has just graduated from college and he has a $28,000 gambling debt. To evade his creditors he goes to Thailand on a Peace Corps flight. In Thailand he works with local villagers, Tom Tuttle [John Candy] and Beth Wexler [Rita Wilson] on a bridge construction project. They do not realize there are some powerful groups who are also interested in their bridge.
