This is a 27" x 39" Spanish poster for the 1977 Robert Aldrich film Twilight's Last Gleaming based on the 1977 novel of the same title by Walter Wager, screenplay by Ronald M. Cohen and Edward Huebsch and starring Burt Lancaster as General Lawrence Dell. Plot summary: Lawrence Dell is a renegade US Air Force general who infiltrates and takes over an ICBM complex he once helped design. He then contacts the president of the United States David Stevens [Charles Durning] and demands a public admission that the US government fought the Vietnam war knowing it could not win, simply as a propaganda measure aimed at manipulating the Soviet Union.
