This film directed by Inas Al Degheidy is based on the 1946 American film Gilda directed by Charles Vidor and starring Rita Hayworth. This Egyptian version of that classic film was a box office failure, but it has a beautiful poster designed by Takht Ahd. Plot summary: Jamila (Youssra) is a singer married to Azmi (Ahmed Ramzi), the owner of one of the hotels where she works. The hotel has a new manager named Salah (Mustafa Fahmi) who has recently been released from prison. Salah, who has a secret side business as an arms dealer, is an extremely cruel man. In his earlier years his marriages had been unsuccessful because of his infidelities and now he has become an older man without ever being close to a woman. Jamila takes up with him and abandons her husband for the sake of her career, thinking he can help her socially, but then tires of Salah and returns to Azmi; this leads to a violent altercation when Salah tries to take revenge against Jamila for abandoning him.
