Witi Ihimaera and starring Keisha Castle-Hughes as Paikea. Plot
summary: Pai [Keisha Castle-Hughes] is an 11-year-old member of the
Whangara people of east New Zealand who belives she is destined to be
the new chief, but she is not male and as a female she must overcome a
thousand years of tradition to convince her people.
