This is is a US 27" x 41" one-sheet poster for the 1963 Cornel Wilde
film Lancelot and Guinevere AKA Sword of Lancelot (USA)
written by Richard Schayer and Cornel Wilde and starring Cornel Wilde
as Sir Lancelot. Plot summary: This is Cornel Wilde's version of the
Camelot legend. When Sir Lancelot and Guinevere [Jean Wallace] fall
in love it upsets King Arthur, who has married Guinevere; Lancelot is
no longer the most valued knight at the Round Table. After Lancelot
and Guinevere have a tryst in Guinevere's palace chamber, while
leaving Lancelot fights off a contingent of soldiers the king has sent
to kill him and the next day Guinevere finds herself tied to a stake
to be burned. Lancelot spirits her away at the last minute and then
surrenders to the mercy of the king. However, his plan changes.
