This is a 21" x 31" Dutch poster for the 1944 Joseph Kane film Hands Across the Border based on a screenplay by J. Benton Cheney and Bradford Ropes and starring Roy Rogers as himself. Plot summary: In this cowboy musical (complete with a tap dancing routine on a varnished wooden stage with footlights), Horse Breeders Jeff Adams [Joseph Crehan] and Brock Danvers [Onslow Stevens] are trying to get an army contract for cavalry horses, but Adams is killed trying to ride Trigger. Roy Rogers intervenes to keep Trigger from being shot and then trains him to race and do tricks so he can win the contract.
