Mistiano to promote a 1980 rerelease of the 1960 Ferdinando Baldi and
Richard Pottier film David and Goliath based on a screenplay by
Umberto Scarpelli and Gino Mangini and starring Orson Welles as King
Saul. Plot summary: This film tells in Old Testament English the
Biblical story from the Book of Samuel of the war between the
Philistines and the Israelites in 11th Century B.C. and the divinely
ordained rise to the Israelite throne of the shepherd boy David [Ivica
Pajer] after he kills Goliath [Aldo Pedinotti].
