film Glory based on a screenplay by Kevin Jarre and starring
Matthew Broderick as Colonel Robert Gould Shaw. Plot summary: During
the American Civil War Colonel Robert Gould Shaw commands the Union's
first all-black volunteer company. He has to fight predjudice on both
the Union and Confederate sides.
