This is a 27" x 41" US one-sheet poster for the 1981 Walter hill film Southern Comfort written by Michael Kane, Walter Hill and David Giler and starring Keith Carradine as PFC Spencer. Plot summary: On a weekend maneuver in 1973 in a Louisiana swamp a squad of Louisiana National Guardsmen steals three canoes and uses them to cross a swamp. As the soldiers are paddling across the swamp the owners of the boats, a group of Cajun trappers, shoot and kill the squad's leader Staff Sergeant Poole [Peter Coyote] in a fit of rage. This sets off a long bloody confrontation which does not go well for the guardsmen.
