This is a 13" x 27.5" Italian locandina for an undated rerelease of the 1979 Andrei Tarkovsky film Stalker starring Aleksandr Kaydanovskiy as the stalker. Plot summary: The Zone is near a gray unnamed city; it is protected by barbed wire and a military guard. One night, over his wife's objections, the stalker arises in the dead of night for a rendezvous with two people who want to be led into a place in the Zone called the Room, where one's secret hopes are realized.
