film In the Mood for Love written and directed by Wong Kar-Wai
and starring Maggie Cheung as Mrs. Chan. Plot summary: The story
depends on two extraordinary coincidences. The first is when
Mrs. Chan and Chow Mo-wan [Tony Leung] move into adjacent apartments
on the same day and become friends; the second is when the two
discover their spouses have been unfaithful, which draws them together
in a much stronger platonic bond.
This is a rare original advance poster for what is considered to be
Wong Kar-Wai's best film.
