This is a 13" x 27.5" Iranian locandina poster for the 1983 Mehdi
Sabbaghzadeh film Senator written by Fereydoun Jeyrani and
starring Faramarz Gharibian as Warrant Officer Haqgu. Plot summary:
During the reign of Mohammad Reza Shah, Warrant Officer Haqgu finds
some bags of heroin stashed in a truckload of wheat. He arrests Ali
Haqiqat, [Bijan Emkanian] the driver, but he says he is innocent and
knew nothing about the heroin. He says Senator Valatabar, [Saeed
Neyvandi] who hired him to drive the truck, is head of the heroin
smuggling and distribution network. Haqgu reports this to the
Sheriff's Intelligence Office, but law enforcement allegiances are not
what he expects.
