Qader finds a piece of turquoise and gives it to Aqa Amu. Bektash kills Qader at the mine. Aqa Amu and the workers go on strike in retaliation. To determine the value of his turquoise Aqa Amu sends Jalil to town but Bektash kills him on the way. He also sets a grain elevator on fire in the village to hurt the miners.
