This is a 26.25" x 38.75" Iranian poster designed by Heddat for the
1987 Siamak Shayeghi film Dowry for Robab starring Hadi Eslami.
Plot summary: Robab is engaged to her cousan Kamel. Her father Ali
Veis is an oyster fisherman who suffers from asthma. Kamel's mother
has asked the bride's family to send their daughter to the groom's
home with a dowry. To obtain a dowry Ali Veis is trying to find a
pearl in his catch. Unknown to the father, his son Khadem is also
fishing for pearls with help from his friend Khedr to provide a dowry
for his sister. Their efforts produce no results. The groom's mother
goes to Ali Veis's home and adjusts her requirement. The wedding
ceremonies are held. On the eve of the wedding, Khadem gives Robab an
oyster. The next day Robab opens the oyster and finds a pearl.
