This is a 27.5" x 39.25" Iranian poster designed by Heddat for the
1989 Kazem Baloochi film Heritage written by Kazem Baloochi and
Mehdi Haghi and starringMostafa Tari. Plot summary: Before dying, a
wealthy man who objected to the behavior and characteristics of his
two sons, hid his wealth in an antique vase. He said if either of the
sons changed has behavior for the better, he would instruct a trustee
to give him the money. After the father died, instead of doing as the
father had instructed the two sons tried to get rid of each
other. They ultimately understood that the father's goal was to
encourage them to do what is right.
