This is a 26.75" Iranian poster designed by Bateni for the 1987 Ahmad
Bakhshi film Jamil written by Asghar Abdollahi and starring
Hosein Gil. Plot summary: Jamil, a dock worker, lived with his family
in a rented room in a large house. The other renters included an
exiled politician and a guard who were always fighting with the
landlord. Jamil's father was an arms smuggler Jamil prevented from
living in the house, and for this reason Jamil fought with the
landlord. Jamil spent a few days in jail. After his release he and
the other renters fought the landlord and his agents to avenge the
death of his son, who had died while he was in prison.
