This is a 27" by 38.5" Iranian poster designed by Reza Haddad for the
1991 Mehdi Sabbaghzadeh film Island Search written by Asghar
Abdollahi and Hassan Gholizadeh and starring Khosro Shakibai as
Detective Ahmadi. Plot summary: Detective Ahmadi gets the job of
delivering 10 falcons he has obtained from smugglers to the
Environmental Protection Organization. However along the way the
falcons are stolen from him by an unknown person. Ahmadi, which finds
himself open to the accusation of theft, decides to pursue the thief
on his own. During the search he comes to Kish Island after losing
his pistol and id card. Once on the island he searches for Marzouk
the river pilot, an old acquaintance, so he can continue the search
with his help. After research and investigation the two finally see
the thieves transferring the stolen falcons to some Gulf Sheikhdoms;
they arrest all of them with the help of police agents.
