This is a 25.75" x 38.75" Iranian poster for the 1989
film Wages written and directed by Majid Javanmard and starring
Mohammad Saleh Ala. Plot summary: After an unsuccessful attempt to
assassinate Esfandiar, the tribal patriarch, two tribal youths are
sentenced to death. Esfandiar told their mothers that their sons were
killed during an attempted prison break. With the help of a youth
named Yaqoub they exhume the bodies from their graves and return them
to their place of birth. During the funeral Esfandiar arrives and
shoots Yaqoub while trying to kill his wife. In retaliation for the
killing of his son Morad Mirshekar kills Esfandiar; the police arrive
at that moment.
