This is a 25" x 39.25" Iranian poster for the 1983 Habib Kavosh
film Dadshah written by Ebrahim Motamed Nezhad and Hadi Seif
and starring Saeed Rad as Dadshah. Plot summary: Dadshah was opposed
to Article Four of the Marshal Plan and its executors in Zahedan, the
capital of Iran's southeaster province of Sistan va Baluchestan,
because he believed the plan was a pretext for plundering the country.
He hung one of its supporters named Commander Dorrani. The gendarmes
burned the village where Dadshah was living and detained his
wife. Dadshah attacked the guard station and decimated an army group
that was prepared to arrest him. After killing Carroll, the official
in charge of Article Four in Sistan va Baluchestan, and his wife, the
government of the time resigned because of incompetence. With the
help of Ilu Khan the new government, trusted by Dadshah, used
negotiations as a pretext for taking Dadshah down.
