This is a 27.5" x 39" Iranian poster designed by Heddat for the 1988
film The Train written and directed by Amir Ghavidel and
starring Faramarz Gharibian as Poulad. Plot summary: In 1979 a train
carrying fuel oil for the shah's army is rerouted by revolutionary
forces to a cold remote mountain area with a fuel shortage. The train
is stopped on the way and the conductor and his companion are
arrested, but the locomotive operator is determined to take the
runaway train to its destination.
