This is a 19" x 27" Iranian poster for the 1987 Ahmad Bakhshi
film Jamil written by ASghar Abdollahi and starring Mohammad
Abhari. Plot summary: Jamil, a dock worker, lives with his family in
a rented room in a large home. A political exile, a policeman and
others are also renters in the home and are constantly in conflict
with the home's owner. Jamil's father works in the home of Smith, who
is president of the Iran-England Shipping Company and an arms
smuggler. Jamil prevents his father from continuing to work in the
Smith home and for this reason Smith fights with him. Jamil goes to
prison for a few days. After his release he helps the other renters
and works to avenge his son, who died while he was in prison. He
fights Smith and his agents.
