This is a 19.5" x 27" Iranian poster for the 1992 Mehdi Fakhimzadeh
film The Simpleton written by Mehdi Fakhimzadeh and Parviz
Noori and starring Hadi Eslami. Plot summary: Rahman gets money from
the people on the pretext of procuring a home and runs away with it.
He takes refuge at an inn run by two friends, Gholam and Abdollah.
Rahman is apparently killed in an accident. The main suspects are
Abdollah and Gholam, but those two have done nothing worng and they
are forced to flee. Ten years later when they come back to the city
they realize Rahman actually died of a heart attack and there had been
no killing. They investigate and finally find the stolen money
stashed in a forest.
