This is a 26.25" x 38" Iranian film poster designed by Bateni for the
1990 Kiumars Poorahmad film The Silent Hunt based on a novel by
Roald Dahl, screenplay by Kiumars Poorahmad and starring Mehdi Hashemi
as the hunter. Plot summary: A conscientious hunter [Mehdi Hashemi]
and his adolescent son [Sam Gharibian] go into the Pardis Kala region
for a hunt. In Pardis Kala a filthy king influences all the officials
and the entire region but nobody likes him. The capricious Sarkar
Ostevar [Ali Reza Khamseh] does not like his new neighbor the
hunter. The teacher lady [Golab Adineh] does not like the hunter, who
does not understand her sense of order and organization. The good
people and the bad people fight each other, resulting in the
realization of the small and lovely hopes of the hunter's son.
