This is a 27" x 39" Iranian poster designed by Heddat for the 1989
Seifollah Dad film Kani-Manga based on a screenplay by
Seifollah Dad and Ahmad Reza Darvish and starring Faramarz Gharibian.
Plot summary: An Iraqi aircraft crashes in Kordestan's Kani-Manga
Mountains and its pilot gets away unhurt. A commando group under
Captain Yavari is given the mission to capture the pilot. An armed
Islamic Republic opposition group led by Kak Hushang also gets
involved in an effort to save the pilot. The commandos clash with the
members of the armed group and arrest the Iraqi pilot. Iraqi
helicopters are sent to the region and get into an air battle with
Iranian helicopters. The Iranians get the better of the Iraqis.
Before dying Hushang admits that his old friend Yavari's brother was
killed for refusing to cooperate with his group.
