This is a 27" x 37.5" Iranian poster designed by Bateni for the 1988
Khosrow Malekan film Whisper written by Khosrow Malekan and
Mohammad Ali Massoumdoost and starring Reza Saberi. Plot summary: A
student named Javad was shot by a security agent while distributing
leaflets, then fled in a pickup truck. Hamid took a liking to Javad
when they met. Some time later the police arrested Hamid and tortured
him to get the location where Javad was hiding. Hamid joined a
political group opposed to the regime, of which Javad was a member.
Some time later Hamid was killed by the police.
