This is a 28.5" x 39" Iranian poster designed by Heddat to promote the
1984 Hassan Mohammad Zadeh film The Scarecrow starring Fakhri Korvash.
Plot summary: Ismail is living with his two small children, a son and
a daughter named Ali and Soona. Ali's classmate complains about his
stepmother's behavior. Ali is constantly afraid of his father taking
such a wife. With the encouragement of his friends Ali's father
marries Esther, who works at a nursery, but because of the idea Ali
has of "father's wife" he responds harshly to Esther's kindness.
Esther's continued kindness eventually results in Ali accepting her as
his mother.
