This is a 26" x 38" Iranian poster designed by Heddat for the 1985
Sirus Alvand film Rooted in Blood written by Mohammad Deihimi
and starring Faramarz Gharibian as Hojjat. Plot summary: Hojjat was a
young man active against the Capitulation who was transferred from
village to village along with Rasul. Hojjat was killed by agents in
an attack but before his death he gave the bag containing his
documents to Rasul so he could take it to the village of Kalarabad.
Rasul, who had been wounded, fled into the forest and took shelter in
a shack with a man named Shir Ali, who was connected to the Forest
Movement. Road agents, who wanted to destroy Shir Ali's hut to build
a road, were watching him because they were suspicious of him. Shir
Ali helped Rasul escape and was himself shot down by the agents.
