This is a 27" x 39" Iranian poster for the 1987 film Land of Hopes written and directed by Majid Gharizadeh and starring Jahangir Almasi. Plot summary: Against the wishes of his wife Mina
Saeed Qasemi sold his property and furniture so he could go to
America, the land of his hopes. His wife and child left home. His
brother, who was living with his family in Tabriz, came to Tehran to
print his book titled Land of Hopes. Before coming he received
a letter from their other brother Behruz who was living in America and
glorified his situation there. Hamid tried to dissuade his brother
from carrying out his decision. After the death of an old woman
neighbor whom he had taken to the hospital, Saeed returned home and
after reading Behruz's letter changed his mind about going to America.
The next day he went to his wife's workplace and said he wanted to go
to Tabriz to see his mother.
