This is a 23.5" x 35.25" Iranian poster for the Tapi Chanakya
film Homaye Saadat AKA Subah-O-Sham based on a
screenplay by Shankar Kinagi and Harish Shukla and starring Fardin as
Aarun. This was the first Indian film ever filmed in Iran. Plot
summary: The wealthy Aarun in Tehran becomes infatuated with an
alcoholic indian concubine named Shirin, [Waheeda Rehman], but he
knows his mother will not approve of her. When he makes plans to
marry her secretly she refuses at the last minute. In anger Aarun
marries Nazneen instead, who was his mother's choice for him, and
moves to Ehwas. Later Nazneen has a child, but this is not the end of
Aram's relationship with Shirin.
