This is a 26" x 38" Iranian poster designed by an unknown artist for
the 1987 film The Blade and the Silk written and directed by
Masud Kimiai and starring Mohammad Vali Ahmadloo. Plot summary: An
evil decision is made in Bangkok to send 20 tons of pure heroin to
Iran for distribution in schools, universities and even at the war
fronts. After they are arrested and interrogated, a young man and
woman confess to their involvement with an international narcotics
smuggling network. The woman commits suicide in prison; the man
tells his interrogator about his father's relationship with the
narcotics smuggling and distribution network.
