the 1962 Mohammad Ali Fardin 97-minute black-and-white film The
Hungry Wolves [gorgha-ye gorosneh] based on a screenplay by Nesame
Fatemi with cinematography by Ahmad Shirazi. The film was produced by
the Iran Film Studio. Plot summary: A group of heroin smugglers was
willing to commit any crime to achieve its objectives. A newspaper
journalist and his photographer got involved in one of their crimes
and brought about their arrest with persistence and courage.
