[zendegi-ye khosusi] starring Farhad Aslani based on a screenplay by
Asghar Naimi with cinematography by Faraj Heidari. Plot summary: This
is the story of a man named Ebrahim Kiani [Farhad Aslani] who starts
out as a hardliner but after being fired from his government jobs
begins writing opposition articles in his newspaper and completely
changes his way of life. As a journalist he says he wants to put
ethics ahead of Islamic commands. He makes a temporary wife
(sigheh) of a woman named Parisa [Hanie Tavassoli], lies to his
wife about it, spends three days with her and then refuses to see her
again despite her wish to continue the relationship. However Parisa
makes friends with Ebrahim's wife so she can continue to see him,
tells Ebrahim she is pregnant and that he must take responsibility for
the child. Pretending to regret his harsh behavior, Ebrahim takes
Parisa for a ride and kills her.
