This social street drama film by Mehrshad Karkhani is freely adapted
from the 1971 Jalal Moghadam film Escape from the Trap [farar
az teleh]. Alborz [Mazdak Mirabedini] gets out of prison and goes
looking for peace in the city, which he never seems to find. The high
walls at the Ekbatan Apartment Complex are for him the distance
between death and life. Most of the film's events are depicted in
that massive complex located in West Tehran
