This is a 26.5" x 38" Iranian poster designed to promote the 2000 Davoud Mavasaghi film Invitation to Dinner starring Negar Forozandeh with cinematograpy by Ali Sadeqhi. Plot summary: Homa Yeganeh [Negar Forozandeh] is a journalist who accidently witnesses the theft of a carpet. She takes a picture of the leader of the gang of thieves and they chase her with the intention of killing her. However they do not succeed. The next day at a meeting a young officer named Qorbani [Youssef Moradian] gets the job of investigating the matter. Also on the next day Homa goes to the carpet shop and says she has photographed the leader of the gang of thieves. She meets the owner of the carpet shop, a single man named Derakhshan [Yarta Yaran]. Qorbani, who was one of Homa's rejected suitors, sees her with Derakhshan at the carpet shop. When the members of the gang of thieves find Homa's home they turn the place upside down in an unsuccessful search for the picture. Homa and Derakhshan are attracted to each other and a rivalry emerges between Derakhshan and Qorbani. When the thieves are convinced the photos have been destroyed they steal other things. Qorbani is suspicous of Derakhshan and watches everything he does. Derakhshan invites Qorbani to dinner and tells him he is interfering with his life with Homa. On the other hand someone in the gang of thieves makes an error and they are exposed; Homa and her mother find themselves in a dangerous situation. On Qorbani's recommendation they go to his father's villa for safety. However the thieves find them. Aqa Khan [Parviz Bozorgi], the leader of the thieves, decides to kill Homa and her mother, but Qorbani arrives right at the last minute. Derakhshan has given up on continuing his relationship with Homa and he calls and goes to see her again. Aqa Khan kills him.
