This is a 27" x 39" undated Egyptian rerelease poster designed by
Wahib Fahmy for the 1960 Irvin S. Yeaworth film Dinosaurus! written by
Jack H. Harris, Dan E. Weisburd and Jean Yeaworth and starring Ward
Ramsey as Bart Thompson. This low-budget thriller was done with
stop-motion animation on the Island of St. Croix. Plot summary:
During the construction of a harbor on a Caribbean island two
dinosaurs, a brontosaurus and a tyrannosaurus rex, are brought back to
life by a lighting strike. They are released after being in suspended
animation for millions of years. A Neanderthal man [Gregg Martell] is
also resuscitated. After the caveman and the brontosaurus are killed,
the people on the island take shelter from the t-rex in an old
fortress protected by an improvised moat of burning fuel.
