for the 1954 Ronald Neame film The Million Pound Note
AKA Man with a Million based on a story by Mark Twain,
screenplay by Jill Craigie and starring Gregory Peck as Henry Adams.
Plot summary: Two rich gentlemen have decided to give away a
one-million-pound note, just when Henry Adams passes by. They give the
note to Henry, who then finds that the people he wants to spend money
with are unable to change the note and opt instead to give him
anything he wants at no charge.
