This is a 27" x 39" Egyptian poster designed by Magdi William for
the 1981 John Huston film Escape to Victory AKA Victory
based on a story by Yabo Yablonsky, Djordje Milicevic and Jeff
Maguire, screenplay by Evan Jones and Yabo Yablonsky and starring
Sylvester Stallone as Captain Robert Hatch. Plot summary: During
World War II in Nazi-occupied Paris the French Resistance and some
British officers are planning an escape for a soccer team consisting
of allied POWs scheduled to play against a group of Nazi officers in a
German propaganda event.
The US title for this film is Victory.
