This is a 27" x 39" Egyptian one-sheet poster designed by Walid Wahig
for the 1959 Houssam El-Din Mustafa film I Won't Forget You
based on a screenplay by Mohamed Osmani, story and dialogue by Abdel
Hamid Gawda al-Sahar and starring Hind Rostom as Sawsan. Plot
summary: Laila [Fayrouz] was in love with Engineer Hossam [Shukry
Sarhan] and he wanted to propose to her, but her family would not
allow them to marry until her big sister Sawsan married. Although
Sawsan was beautiful and very appealing, nobody wanted to marry her
because she was too egotistical and greedy. Then she suddenly became
obsessed with Hossam and married him; Laila had a breakdown. After
that Hossam's friend Kamal [Rushdy Abaza] instantly fell in love with
Sawsan when she flirted with him, seemingly oblivious of Sawsan's
marriage to his friend Hossam. Kamal turned his back on his wife and
became so crazy about Sawsan that he quarreled with her when he found
her talking to another man, so she yanked a heavy statue from a mantle
and struck him on the head with it, killing him. They gave Sawsan a
ten-year jail sentence; when Hossam heard what had happened he went
back to his first love Laila, whom he had never forgotten.
