People, even professional anthropologists, seem bent on interpreting this pair of buried skeletons as the remnant of some syrupy, journalistic, date-movie fairy tale. How do they know? These are just bones with no ability to speak for themselves.
They could have been cousins who couldn't stop fighting and finally killed each other, and then were buried by an exasperated uncle who decided they would have to spend eternity getting reconciled with one another as punishment for annoying everybody with their endless bickering.
