This is a 23" x 33" German poster made to promote the 1973 Jun Fukuda film Godzilla vs. Megalon based on a story by Takeshi Kimura and starring Katsuhiko Sasaki as Inventor Goro Ibuki. Plot summary: Once again nuclear testing by surface civilizations incites the wrath of undersea monsters, this time in the form of the monster Megalon acting on behalf of an undersea civilization known as Seatopia. Fortunately for the surface world, Goro Ibuki, an inventor, creates a humanoid robot named Jet Jaguar (shown in the foreground on this German poster) who enlists the aid of Godzilla on nearby Monster Island to defend the surface world against the attack from Megalon.
