Plot Summary: The film portrays the lives of Palestinian freedom fighters seekingg to free their village from Israeli occupation. Ahmed (Omar Sharif) is an Egyptian who has joined these Palestinian fighters. He meets a girl from the village named Salma. Their efforts to save the Palestinians are dangerous, but they survive and eventually fall in love and marry.
