Plot Summary: A man falls in love with the wealthy wife of a friend. He kills his friend, marries the widow, steals her money and jewelry and mistreats her. He is then arrested and punished. This film is an adaptation of Emile Zola's Therese Raquin. According to film critic Sa'ad al-Din Tawfiq it is one of the top 100 Egyptian films.
