This film is three stories. Naguib Mahfouz wrote the third story, which is titled Sura [photo]. Plot summary for sura: The police looked for the body of a woman under the pyramids. This was published in a newspaper. A number of people thought the woman in the picture looked familiar, like the mother who left her children in a village to work in Cairo and the gentleman who thought she was his maid. For someone else she was a director's mistress who had attacked him and fled. She was a different woman with a different name in each home and for each man. The investigator tried in vain to find the truth.
