An employee in a shop falls in love with the daughter of its owner, but she loves someone else. He does not blame her for this. After a time she discovers the one she loves does not love her at all. The employee knows the girl does not love him. He is stricken with a severe coma and taken to a hospital. A physician diagnoses his condition as very grave and gives him one week to live.
